While the machine is stopped, a gauge is positioned on the substrate. This gauge measures the right position of the plate-cylinder. The operator locks the position and replaces the gauge by the plate-cylinder. The set-up is optimized in 10 seconds on every print station, without the need for additional pressure adjustments. Additionally, the elimination of the manual adjustments reduces dramatically the variability of printing quality.
