The first amazing thing you will discover about the COHESIO, is the possibility to print your face stock on reverse before adhesive application. In other words, you can make single layer “no label look” film labels, or even, single-layer white PP labels with printing on both sides.
The face stock is only processed when it comes to lamination. In other words: virtually any material can be used as face stock: embossed, leaflets, scratch'n'sniff, peel and reveal, laser sheets, shrink sleeve, etc… Once the label stock roll is ready, it can be replaced on the machine as being face stock and re-run with another roll of liner. Meaning, that you can multiply layers and make piggy back or coupon labels.

While you're taking advantage of all the possibilities, you are making huge savings. You become your own pressure sensitive material supplier, therefore, you do not pay for other companies' profits. Savings on raw material start at 30% and can go up to 90%.
Furthermore, extra savings are generated by a reduction of waste due to the fact that only face stock is being processed through the printing press. By printing on reverse of film, you also save from extra laminations or varnishes, no longer necessary since your printing is protected, imprisoned between the film and the adhesive.

Adopting the COHESIO will increase your plant's versatility. To start off, there are no limitations on printing methods. You can choose your printing method (digital, flexo-graphic, offset, letterpress, silk screen) and convert your material into a final label.
Speed limitations on presses are eliminated since the die cutting operation is transferred to the COHESIO rather than the presses. Versatility in the choice of final products is also a main advantage like, for example, Liner less final labels. Chip insertion. |
